your yoga practice begins here🌸
We women carry many roles - as mothers, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, wives, friends, workers, caregivers, and supporters. Life can be very busy.
We often care for others and put ourselves last.
But when we are not nourished - physically, mentally, and emotionally - how can we continue to sustain our lives?
Now is the time to begin putting yourself first!
Grounded in Hatha Yoga with slow flow movements, my session is suitable for beginners to intermediate yoginis. Through conscious breathing and gentle movement, we calm the mind, ease chronic pain, and improve sleep.
Many are have short on time , so yoga session is 50 minutes for online class and 60 minutes for in-person class.
Each session typically includes:
Pranayama - Breath Work
Seated Movement - Warm up for joints and small muscles
Asanas - Yoga Poses
Savasana - Corpse Pose for Relaxation
Hello and welcome! I am Kayo, a yoga teacher, Ayurveda health educator and founder of Yoga for Goddess.
I completed my Advanced Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practices in 2022. At the age of 53, I began teaching yoga at a local community hall. Now I teach from my own space - simple and heartfelt.
Yoga supported me deeply through many of life's challenges(and there were plenty...I can share more when the time feels right). Sharing the timeless wisdom of yoga with women is my passion. If you take just five minutes today to practice mindful breathing, it will make my day.🌸
As a Japanese-Australian, my teachings carry the influence of both cultures. You notice my accent when I speak - sometimes I sound a little funny, but it's part of the charm!
Life gets busy, and moments for ourselves can feel rare. I started teaching yoga well past middle age. So if I can begin, you absolutely can too.
Let me guide you to breathe, move and grow - together.
Kayo ❤️
